WeAreAfro Movement   ))   Cape Town, South Africa

Cya Schneider is a dynamic and versatile DJ hailing from Khayelitsha Harare in Cape Town, originally born in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. His love affair with house music began at the age of 7, inspired by legendary selectors such as Glen Lewis, DJ Fresh, Iggy Smallz, Loco Dice, DJ Walker, and DJ Siyanda.

A self-taught artist with a deep passion for music, Cya has carved a unique sound that blends Deep House, Deep Tribal, AfroTech, Techno, and Electro. His sets are immersive journeys that move both the mind and the soul.

Cya held a 3-year residency at the iconic Summer Place in Khayelitsha, sharing the decks with respected names like Cya-C Deep, Bravo, Skinny, Chuma Uniquesoul, Deepconsoul, and more. As his network and influence expanded, he connected with the Born2HouseMusic movement, learning from talents such as ATHIE, Yamz, and AudioJack — lessons that strengthened both his craft and his humility in the industry.

Today, he is the founder of DeepHouse Talk Volumes, a creative movement built to empower and uplift local artists, offering them a platform to be heard and valued for their art.
