DJ P1T, born Peter Mungai Kihara in Nairobi, Kenya, is a dynamic Kenyan-Australian DJ and music producer currently based in Melbourne. After moving to Australia in 2008, he began his DJing career in 2011 in Tasmania, where he initially performed at free gigs to establish his name. By early 2012, he transitioned to paid performances and quickly became a fixture in the nightlife scene.

Specializing in genres such as Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro house, Afro pop, Afro Jazz, reggae, Kikuyu native language music, and dancehall, DJ P1T creates a vibrant atmosphere at his events. He has performed in numerous clubs across Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. His passion for music led him to become a music promoter in 2012, organizing weekly events featuring various DJs. He has supported renowned artists like Julian Marley, Cecile, and Chronixx during their tours in Australia.
