Wie du echten Deep House unterscheidest.
Durch die inflationäre Verwendung des Begriffs weiß offenbar keiner mehr, was Deep House ist.
Wie der Name impliziert, hat es was mit House zu tun, der bekanntlich in Chicago entstand.
Charakteristisch ist die sogenannte chromatische Tonleiter.
Erstmal: eine Tonleiter nennt man die Reihe von Tönen innerhalb eines Intervalls.
Im klassischen Deep House wird auf alle zwölf Töne einer Tonleiter zurückgegriffen,
was dann Chromatik genannt wird.
Und das ergibt den von diversen Korgs oder Rolands induzierten tiefen Klang,
macht den House also deep und melancholisch.

Offen bleibt die Frage,
ob der Begriff Deep House in seinem früheren Sinne noch zu retten ist.
Darum: Real Deep House !!!

How to recognize real deep house.
Due to the inflationary use of the term, no one seems to know what deep house is anymore.
As the name implies, it has something to do with house music, which, as we know, originated in Chicago.
A characteristic feature is the so-called chromatic scale.

In classic deep house, all twelve notes of a scale are used,
which is then called chromaticism.
This results in the deep sound induced by various Korgs or Rolands,
making house music deep and melancholic.

The question remains
whether the term deep house can still be saved in its former sense.
Therefore: Real Deep House!!!
