joeyq is a seasoned Lebanese DJ and music producer who grew up in Dubai. His passion for creating unforgettable experiences on the dance floor began as early as high school parties. Originally rooted in hip-hop music and culture, joeyq’s journey into electronic music started with house as his entry point. After eight years of DJing, he fully embraced dark, hypnotic Minimal Techno, a genre that now defines his sound.

His most notable DJ appearances include Peppermint Club (DXB), The Basement (BEY), and Forestronika (BEY).

joeyq has released music on labels such as Terminal M Records, Oxytech Limited, Alula Tunes, Proton, and Milky Records. His tracks and EPs have been played and supported by industry heavyweights including Boris Brejcha, Lampé, Monococ, Carbon, and Christian Craken.

joeyq, ever the kook, proudly labels himself a technophile who loves punchy drums, hypnotic percussion, and monotone yet ultra-gnarly basslines. His ultimate goal is to stay as authentic and original as possible while being provocatively bold—both in sound and lifestyle.
