"This particular series stemmed off of the success of the Deeper Sound Of series, expanding on the uniqueness of each DJ that was showcased.
Aptly entitled 'Definitive Sound Of', this was the first cmpilation in a series of volumes that gave the DJ complete freedom in terms of the sound they defined themselves to be.
Ricardo (yes, ladies and gents, Ricardo Da Costa himself!) kicked it off with his definitive sound which he entitled "Carnival", which emphasised the sounds that one would hear in a carnival, and the sounds that he thoroughly enjoyed.
