Kire
Progressive techno of the 2000s decade represents the source of his musical influences, to name with Chris Liebing, Gayle San and Sven Väth. Around 2005 his style manifested itself on minimal to progressive techhouse.

In 2000 he also started his passion for mixing electronic music on vinyl, being heard on some local radio stations as well as at events in Darmstadt and Bensheim. In 2008, he briefly turned away from DJing records to learn tractor technology with MP3 files, but in mid-2015 he mostly discontinued this experiment in favor of the higher quality vinyl sound.

As a result, he founded said project "Nachtflug Widerstand" with maniac&me.
Erik P performs his painterly vinyl sets with impressive technique, creating soundscapes that intend to cast a hypnotic spell on his listeners.

maniac&me
Originating from the Hessian fairytale forests of the Brothers Grimm, maniac&me was significantly shaped by the Frankfurt sound in the 90s: This is the source of his consistent dedication to underground electronic music, which must suspend space and time.

In the 90s/ 00s maniac&me organized several raves in the Rhine-Main region, had a party series in an underground location in Darmstadt and numerous engagements in bars and smaller clubs. After rather rare performances in the 10s, his move in 2017 acted as a boost for gigs in Berlin: As a permanent member of “Duma, The Collective”, maniac&me organizes and plays in the Berlin locations Minimal Bar, SchwuZ, Orangerie Neukölln and Renate. He has also been active as a DJ team with Hessian DJ Kire as “Nachtflug Widerstand” since 2013.

In his vinyl only sets, he pays homage to the consistent devotion to the groove of underground house and techno music:
"It's a nice thing to surf on the wave of remarkable, outstanding tracks, but my passion more lives in the creating of a tsunami kinda funking groove which doesn't straightly hits me in the face to overwhelm, but spins me into a dreamlike collective state of mind which is breathing the self-perceptation to have me and all others in the room never released ever more. I love twisted, irratating tracks which are not catchy from first moment but invite my mind to advance to new spaces of soundexperience. That's where my home and my heart is at."
