Stephen Black (aka Supertramp162) is a sound designer, Max for Live developer, Musician and Modular Synth artist.

They create unique Max for Live devices that blur the line between utility and instrument — from oscilloscopes to experimental modulation tools inspired by hardware. Their devices are designed with both creative exploration and practical workflow in mind, giving producers new ways to sculpt sound inside Ableton Live.

Outside of development, Stephen is known for his modular synth reinterpretations of various styles, including retro video games, classical periods of music and other modern works.
