They’re gone. But what if they suddenly returned? Active. With fresh beats taking over our playlists?

Sure, it sounds absurd.
But in 2024, the Beatles showed us the way: John Lennon became part of a brand-new song.
Thanks to artificial intelligence, his voice was extracted from old recordings and reimagined. The world cheered.
And why not? We loved them. We lived and hurt with them.
They were our anchor – just like today’s stars are for a new generation.

When AI opens the door to the past

A duet between Whitney Houston and Adele – made possible by technology.
Freddie Mercury on stage again, his presence brought to life by holograms and AI vocals so vivid the crowd goes wild.

This vision is no longer science fiction.
I’ve been experimenting with it myself for over a year.
The AI doesn’t recreate Janis Joplin’s voice – not exactly.
But sometimes, by chance, the generated sounds come hauntingly close.
Enough to make me feel like Janis is back – with a brand-new, entirely original song.
It’s not about perfect imitation, but about capturing the essence of a legend and turning it into something new –
of course, without infringing on anyone’s rights.

This revolution is pushing boundaries and building bridges between generations.
We get to experience our idols anew, while a younger audience discovers their brilliance.
Is it a betrayal of art – or a tribute to the timelessness of true greatness?

The debate is complex. But one thing is certain:
The stars of our youth may soon return in ways we never imagined.
And maybe, just maybe, that’s exactly what we need –
a piece of the past to help us reimagine the future of music.
