Hey there
this is April Projex

Welcome to Podcast Twenty-Three — a journey through deep house, soulful vocals, and the heartbeat of modern club culture.

We start with something warm, something human —
Dabruck & Klein feat. Stella Attar – "Heartbeat"
Dabruck & Klein are a German deep house duo, known for blending organic textures with electronic warmth.
Stella Attar — a Lebanese vocalist based in Berlin — brings soul to their sound.
This track pulses like a heartbeat, steady, inviting, perfect for when the night begins.

Then — Frenchloverz with "Oldskool"
A project rooted in Paris’ underground, where electro meets deep house.
They take vintage synth sounds, add modern groove, and create something nostalgic yet fresh.
It’s not retro, it’s timeless.

Next up — Late Night Alumni & Alpha 9 – "Empty Streets"
Late Night Alumni — a British collective, masters of melodic house and storytelling.
Alpha 9 is an Irish producer, famous for his cinematic remixes.
Together, they turn this track into a late-night journey — empty streets, distant lights, and a melody that feels like a memory.

Then — Tom Novy feat. Michael Marshall – "Your Body"
Tom Novy is a German house legend, one of the pioneers of the Cologne sound.
Michael Marshall — a soulful voice from Chicago, brings that classic house energy.
Cat Dealers’ extended remix adds Brazilian flair — warm, groovy, impossible not to move to.
This is house music with history.

After that — Rcena drops "Bounce"
Rcena is a rising name from the Netherlands, part of the new wave of minimal house producers.
This track is stripped down, raw, with a bassline that hits deep.
It doesn’t need vocals, the rhythm speaks for itself.

And at the heart of this set — Mark Lower & Yota – "This Love Won't Fade"
Mark Lower is a British producer, known for emotional depth and melodic precision.
Yota — a Greek vocalist, whose voice feels like a whisper in the dark.
This track is pure soul, where every note lingers, every pause matters.
It’s not loud, it’s unforgettable.

This is where the mood shifts, where the night breathes.
Deep layers, emotional textures, and moments that stay with you.

Stay with it. The journey continues.

As "Work Alcoholic" sets the rhythm,
let’s dive into what’s coming next —
a blend of soulful vocals, deep grooves, and moments that pull you deeper.

First, DJ Glen’s track itself — "Work Alcoholic"
DJ Glen is a fundamental piece of the Brazilian music family,
nominated by 1001Tracklists as one of the Future of Dance 2022 class.
His tracks have been played globally since 2012 by legends like Maceo Plex, Tiësto, and David Guetta.
In 2019, his collaboration "Another Planet" with Bruno Furlan became Claude Vonstroke’s track of the year on Dirtybird.
Today, he’s a resident of Universo Parallelo, Só Track Boa, and Kaballah, while running his own club Royal in São Paulo.
This track is stripped down, hypnotic, built on a relentless bassline that pulls you into the groove.
No vocals, no distractions — just pure rhythm.

Then — Harland Kasten feat. FRNT with "My Princess"
A track that blends soulful melodies with deep house warmth.
FRNT’s remix adds subtle swing, turning it into a late-night anthem.
It’s the kind of track where every synth note feels like a heartbeat.

Next up — Sanxez & Snrs bring "My Guiding Star"
Sanxez creates music across Afro House, Bass House, Dance/Pop, and Deep House.
Snrs adds vocal texture, warm and inviting.
This track floats, like a melody in the dark, perfect for when the dancefloor slows down to breathe.

After that — Matt Caseli, David Jimenez & Errol Reid deliver "Hold up Your Light"
A collaboration where organic warmth meets electronic depth.
Guitar textures, soulful vocals, and a rhythm that feels like a prayer for the dancefloor.
It’s spiritual, intentional, deeply human.

Then — Diego Power steps in with "Don't Look at Me"
Diego Power is a musician and DJ from Russia, Krasnodar Krai, specializing in Deep House, Tech House, and Minimal.
This track is minimal, sharp, full of tension — a bassline that hits like a whisper, yet never loses its groove.
It’s not loud, it’s magnetic.

And finally, Kaan Pars closes this stretch with "Flow"
A track that evolves, pulling you deeper with every bar.
Hypnotic, percussive, built on rhythms that feel ancient and modern at once.
It’s the kind of track that reminds you why you started listening in the first place.

This is where the set shifts, where the energy becomes more intimate, more personal.
Not just tracks, but moments.

Stay with it. The journey is just getting deeper.

Now — the moment I’ve been building toward.
This is Excursions, Vol. 5
a journey through soulful house, deep grooves, and the heartbeat of modern club culture.
Released August 15th, via Experts Only
a label that’s shaped deep house since 2009.

Experts Only began in Berlin,
as a quiet experiment by two selectors who believed in music over hype.
Today, it’s a global movement, known for raw, unfiltered, deeply human house music.
No shortcuts, no trends, just pure connection.

First, Guz brings "U Got That"
Guz is a London-based producer, part of the new wave of UK deep house, blending soulful samples with hypnotic rhythms.
This track pulses like a heartbeat, warm, intimate, perfect for when the dancefloor breathes as one.

Then — B/AN/K drops "AK STRAIGHT"
A mysterious project from Berlin’s underground, often linked to the harder, more percussive side of deep house.
This track is stripped down, raw, with a bassline that hits like a hammer, yet never loses its groove.
It’s the kind of track that reminds you why you fell in love with house music.

Next, Emily Nash delivers "Drink"
Emily is a rising vocalist from Manchester, known for her haunting, almost whispered delivery.
Here, she floats over a deep, rolling bassline, turning vulnerability into strength.
It’s not a song, it’s a feeling.

Then comes Karsten Sollors & Return Of The Jaded with "Cheeky"
Karsten is a German producer, a master of melodic minimalism, whose tracks unfold like stories.
"Cheeky" is playful, funky, full of subtle surprises — a track that smiles while it moves you.
It’s house music with personality.

And finally, Tini Gessler closes with "Come Around"
Tini is another Berlin voice, known for blending organic textures with electronic warmth.
This track is a slow burner, where every note feels intentional, every pause meaningful.
It doesn’t end the set, it leaves you wanting more.

This is what Experts Only stands for — music that connects, not just entertains.
Five tracks, five perspectives, one unbroken flow.

If you’ve stayed this far, you know, this isn’t background noise, it’s a conversation.

Thank you for listening deeply.
Until next time.

That was the journey,
from the heartbeat of deep house, to the soulful whispers of Excursions, to the raw energy of Berlin’s underground.

Every track chosen not to fill space, but to create it.
Not for the moment, but for the memory.

If you felt the pulse in "Heartbeat",
if you got lost in the groove of "U Got That",
or let "Come Around" be your closing thought,
then this was time well spent.

Thank you for listening deeply,
for staying present, for letting the music move you.
This is what it’s about — not just sound, but connection.
