A thought got caught in the undertow and
a dream was buried today
she was wearing the white dress as she was supposed
to wear on her wedding day
and tears roll down her cheek as she tries to remember
all the lines on his face
but she never will forget the smile that he gave her
as he finally fades
isn't it sad?

her demons are calling her
she will not give in
but she already put one foot into the water
