Music and sounds of DJ KOZMO

Bryant Simmons, better known as “Dj Kozmo” was born October 15th, 1990 in Nicholl's Town, North Andros but he moved to the island of New Providence to pursue better opportunities. “Kozmo”, as he is usually called, started his dj career in 2011 as it was always his passion and music has always been a huge part of his life hence his natural progression towards dj’ing. Working at a major hotel on the island, The Atlantis Resort, Kozmo continued to evolve at his craft but it was not an easy road as there were some pitfalls.
He entered the Stoli dj competition twice only to come up short. But as they say, the third time is the charm. He not only won the competition on his third try but was also given an internship at a new but exciting radio station 103.5 The Beat. After his one year internship he was hired as a permanent dj at the crucial 3pm, “The Pickup Mix”, time slot entertaining parents as they make their school runs across the island.
Dj Kozmo has been working on bettering his craft and, as time and technology evolves, so does he. He was able to resign from his position at Atlantis and is now able to be more flexible with where and who he plays for. Kozmo has surely been noticed as one of the most known DJ’s here in The Bahamas. He has traveled both domestically and internationally to display his craft and it is just the beginning for this young aspiring dj. His overall goal is to be remembered because of his skills, personality and hard work. He hopes to become one of the most creative DJ’s that The Bahamas has to offer and take his brand to an even bigger international stage.
