Juan Pablo Casanovas (a.k.a JOHN KASAHN) is a refined and polished DJ from Argentina. Born on June 12, 1982 in La Plata city, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

During his childhood he was surrounded by classical music. His mother is a professional opera singer, piano player and a music teacher.

80's sounds were brought to him by her sister and friends, teenagers at that time. Bands like Depeche Mode, New Order, Erasure, Yazoo, Everything But The Girl, Camouflage, Soft Cell just to name a few that gave shape to the wide spectrum of Electropop, Synthpop, Techpop and sounds of that era. This strange mixture between classical and modern electronic music, gave him an extensive musical knowledge and a certain eclecticism that characterizes his unique sound.

He was part of choral groups, serving as bass or baritone, performing classical and sacred works, activity that provided him an extra musical ear training.

John´s passion for electronic music and dancing led him to visit lots of clubs, both local and international, which gave him an insight from the other side of the booth, learning how to handle the dance floor.

He got some influences from names such as Hernan Cattaneo, Moshic, Martin García, Danny Tenaglia, Satoshi Tomiie, John Digweed and many others.

He joined Sudam Recordings crew sharing with its label his desires of making a quality music scene.

His sets includes House, Deep House, Tribal, Psy and Progressive, always with the clear intention of creating atmospheres with a danceable groove, summed up with his slogan "Progressive, Deep & Eclectic Sounds".

Currently he has his own show called "Timeless" on friskyRadio, one of the best wordwide Electronic Radio Stations, which is broadcasted every 1st friday of the month.
