Description: Back in 2018 I was invited to DJ at the launch of the Archibald Prize exhibition at Goulburn Arts Centre. With a fairly open-ended brief that suggested disco for a cocktail party, I put this prepared mix together to open proceedings, before delving into more mainstream and commercial classic 70s and 80s disco and soul. This mix is almost all excellent edits of killer disco classics, with the occasional new disco funk cut. For me, this is a go-to opening set. As always, this was prepared with vinyl only.
