Music and sounds of Kierán Furlong

Kierán is a 23 year old DJ and Producer hailing from Fethard on sea, Wexford, Ireland. After taking an interest in dance music from quite a young age, his musical tastes tend to vary from genre to genre, giving him a unique sense of creativity when it comes to producing and with DJ Sets too.

He has held residencies in Metropolis Nightclub (Wexford, Ireland) and The Foundry Nightclub (Waterford, Ireland) with some of his remixes and edits have been played around the world and on radio stations such as Beat 102 103 and 98FM also.

Kierán has played alongside both homegrown and international DJs such as Faul & Wad Ad, Chris Lake, Nom De Strip, Jenny Greene, The Dead Prezidents, Lisa Lashes and Judge Jules. He has also played in numerous nightclubs in Ireland such as Crystal Nightclub and Mason's (Waterford), The Savoy (Cork), Karma (Galway), Code 23, Fibber Magees and The Twisted Pepper (Dublin) and Subland (Berlin, Germany). He recently got the chance to play in the main room at Pacha London as a result of winning an international DJ competition, where he played after Chris Lake and Nom De Strip. He also DJed at Indiependence Music Festival in Cork, Ireland, on the same time slot as 2manydjs on a different stage and still played to 1000 people!

He previously was a student in Bray Institute of Further Education studying Music Production. The college runs an annual "Battle of The DJ's" competition for their "DJ Techiques" course, which he was enrolled in, which he won for the year 2013. Judges on the night were Lee Kelly, Jon Hussey and Sunil Sharpe.
