Bio: Pius Xulu hails all the way from a village called Enyezane in Gingindlovu, KwaZulu Natal. He was injected with the #MidTempo venom as a teenager and has never looked back ever since. House Music flows in his veins and he breathes #Downtempo.

The host of the much loved Deejays Lounge Podcast since 2012, that has seen some of the featured DJs rise to stardom and fame, been nominated and won several music awards including the prestigious South African Music Awards, acts namely, Soultronixx Deep of Artwork Sounds, Deep Sen, Exte C, Problem Child Ten 83 of Black Motion, Knight SA, Oscar Mbo, Mandla De DJ of Malumz on Decks, TimADeep, UniDGeoffM and Ceega Wa Meropa to name but a few.

An 80’s kid whose music influence comes from the sounds and stuff he heard and listened to as a kid, and as he grew into adulthood, so you’ll hear him play old school music with a touch of new school. A true house music soldier with an ear for anything great and plays it.

His first love has always been Ancestral and Tribal House since the days of AfricanHouseScenes, Afrodesia MP3 and Yuri Unibelas. Always appreciative of the love and support throughout the years to date. His mixtapes have featured on numerous podcasts, FM radio and various South African and international online radio stations. An events curator and has played at various top events and venues in and around Cape Town.
