Rene Double a.k.a DJ R DUB L “Pronounced DJ R DOUBLE” started his musical journey in the late 90’s, while still finishing high school Rene was booked to DJ Many Live events in Kitchener Ontario & Surrounding Areas. After establishing residents at the legendary Inner City, Rene went on to play shows with many artists. SnowGoons, Sean Kingston & Sayzee, Sean Strange, D12, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khalid, Kid Capri, Swollen Members & Gee Wunder.In 2007 Rene had the privilege to be trained to be a better Disc Jockey by DJ Bubba Kahn & Dave Cambell at the first ever DJ School Scratch Lab in Scarborough Ontario. DJ R DUB L started Dub Radio in 2008 and is currently doing shows that can be heard at DJRDUBL.com In 2010 Rene went to Metal works studio in Mississauga Ontario to be an audio engineer. Rene has also been recording a new EP with Features from Gee Wunder, Peter Jackson, Bishop Brigante, Classified, Divo & Evil Ebenezer With Dub radio climbing in support the new shows are being released as full mixtapes through itunes. With Dub Radio 145 featuring Doh-ski coming out on all major music platforms on march 9th. On March 16th we find Gee Wunder & Rene Double releasing their project “Ultimate Gee” LP that features all Gee Wunder material. Currently Rene is working with many artists for his EP and more Dub Radios.
