Originally from Greenville, SC, 26 year Charlotte area rave veteran Michael “Mayhem” McKinney prefers to mostly stick to various styles of old school 90’s/00’s Electronic Dance Music, but is NOT limited to any specific style although TRANCE is his go too!
He is also proud to be one of the very few TRANCE dj's in the Carolinas! Having learned a few tips and tricks from his professional dj friends Mojo Le Fay, GLOJIN, VB, and THATDJKAIZEN, Michael is a seasoned dj known for throwing down at local underground house parties and showcasing his signature style of emotional-charged, energy-driven, euphoric, & hard-hitting Trance (mostly from the “Classic” era.) He loves telling a story with his lengthy sets that are comprised of massive build-up’s & epic breakdowns while taking his listeners on a magical journey, one that they’ll never forget!
